Model Description

Aethel-Lr-En-V1 is an efficient English Cross-Encoder Reranker developed by Lumees in 2025. It is built on a compact, optimized transformer architecture, making it fast and powerful.

This model is specifically designed for the second stage of modern search pipelines. It takes the top retrieval candidates from a system (like a vector database) and re-orders them to significantly boost final search precision.

Usage

Direct Usage (Sentence Transformers)

First install the Sentence Transformers library:

pip install -U sentence-transformers

Then you can load this model and run inference.
